The FourA conference has been organized since 2000 and is one of the most well-recognized accounting conferences worldwide, especially in Asia. It provides an attractive venue for academics to share their research and pedagogy. The 21st Annual Conference of the Asian Academic Accounting Association will be hosted by Foreign Trade University in Hanoi, Vietnam. It will continue to promote a community for academics from universities in Asia and beyond to collaborate on enhancing research and pedagogy relating to Accounting and Economic Development in Emerging Markets in Asia.

Foreign Trade University, or FTU, is a public university established in 1960 and located in Hanoi, Vietnam. FTU is among the most well-known universities in Vietnam, covering a wide range of business courses: accounting, auditing, banking, finance, management, economics, and foreign languages. FTU offers undergraduate programs in 12 majors with 32 training programs of specialization, including three advanced programs, 14 high-quality programs, and 15 standard programs. There are also 11 master majors and two doctoral majors. The annual admissions test to the university is the most competitive in Vietnam. Students from FTU are recognized as being active and well-qualified. FTU always welcomes national and international students to explore academic and cultural opportunities.
Submission Guidelines
- At the time of submission, the paper must not have been accepted for publication in a journal
- Papers must conform to a standard format set in MS Word Template which can be downloaded HERE
- Papers must be submitted online through our OpenConf Peer Review and Conference Management System
- The paper must be in English and include an abstract, main text, references, tables, and figures
- Abstracts without the completed paper will NOT be accepted
- Papers will be selected through a double-blind review process. Please ensure that the authors' names do not appear in the first submission.
- At least one author of each accepted paper must register for the conference by October 31, 2024, in order for the paper to be included in the program and the conference proceedings
- A conference registrant can only present one paper in the conference
